During Likert Hardcore Fest, I headed to JH Den Bokal in Liedekerke to capture a full day of heavy music, raw energy, and true hardcore spirit. This DIY festival brought together people from across the Belgian and international hardcore scene, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere built on community, passion, and positive vibes.
The lineup featured a strong mix of hardcore, beatdown, metalcore, and deathcore bands from Belgium and abroad. Standout performances included Whatever It Takes celebrating their 20th anniversary, along with Words of Concrete, Recount, Weak Link, and Gravery. Local acts such as Everything Ends, Escape, and Life Turns Cold kept the pit moving from the first band to the last.
With no barrier, nonstop stage dives, and a crowd that gave everything from start to finish, Likert Hardcore Fest was all about intensity and connection. This photo series captures the chaos, emotion, and unity that define the hardcore scene and made this festival one to remember.
